Philip J. Penner
Partner
Married and the father of three adult sons, Phil Penner was born and raised on the West Coast. He loves to spend his free time fishing, boating and playing bridge.
Phil has practiced law for over 30 years exclusively as a trial lawyer. He mainly handles ICBC personal injury and other insurance cases, although he has significant experience with other types of civil litigation disputes. He has appeared successfully at all levels of the Courts in British Columbia. He has also appeared as counsel in well over a hundred mediation cases.
If you have been injured in an accident, Phil knows that you may be feeling overwhelmed by the claims process and what lies ahead. He knows that you will need a strong advocate to stand up for your interests. He will sit down with you without obligation to discuss your situation. He will discuss with you what to expect during the claim process, and your rights. He will discuss how best to access the treatment you need to recover, and how that treatment can be funded if the insurer will not pay for it. He will guide you through the claims process, leaving you free to focus on your recovery and getting your old life back. He will handle your case on a “contingent fee” basis, meaning you will not have to pay anything for legal services until your claim is settled. He will be your ally and voice during this difficult process.
If you would like a no obligation consultation regarding your case, please call Phil (or his assistant, Louise Skerratt) at 250-382-7222 to book an appointment. If you are hospitalized, or your injuries are preventing you from leaving your home, Phil will be happy to come and see you.
