Danielle Blanchard

Danielle practices in the areas of employment, construction and immigration. She has extensive training in conflict resolution and has practiced in employment, construction, and property litigation. She has authored peer-reviewed publications on construction law and legal education in Canada, with work appearing in the Journal of the Canadian College of Construction and the Canadian Legal Education Annual Review.
Her employment law work includes advising employers and employees on structuring employment agreements, severance entitlements, contract changes, constructive dismissal, independent contractors, and provincial employment standards interpretation, among others. Her construction law work includes advising on large construction contracts, managing deficiencies and holdbacks, tendering process, registering and removing liens and certificates of pending litigation, among others.
Danielle grew up in Victoria and attended the Thompson Rivers Law program. She enjoys reading (mostly sci-fi), concerts (anything upbeat), and biking (mostly on the goose).
